Where to find list of ISO 14000 certified companies

Many people / organizations call us to get list of ISO 14000 certified companies (or for that matter ISO 9000 certified companies.

This is one of the biggest porblem in ISO certification prrocess. ISO releases the standard and certification bodies issue registration/certification to ISO standards.

The certification bodies work under accrediation bodies.

List of ISO 14000 (or other standard like ISO 9000) certified organizations is maintained individualy by certification bodies (and /or accreditation bodies) but there is no unified list for any region, country or worldwide.

Due to lack of this control, even the annual survey conducted by ISO for number of certificates issued for ISO 9000, ISO 14000 etc do not provide accurate information. 

To get a list of certified companies, you need to contact various certification bodies in your country and ask them to provide list of their customers. It is up to them to provide such data, they are not even mandated to do it.
