Many people are still confused regarding recent revision of international standard ISO 9001.
Many people believe that ISO 9000 : 2000 is now ISO 9000 : 2008 but this is not true. ISO 9000 is a generic term used for ISO 9000 series of standards. When ISO 9000 series was revised in year 2000 all the three standards (ISO 9000, ISO 9001, ISO 9004) were revised.
The certification is given only for ISO 9001 but it was acceptable to call ISO 9000: 2000 certified or ISO 9001: 2000 certified.

Integrated Management System is all about implementing various management system standards requirements in a unified way such as ISO 9000 (QMS), ISO 14000 (EMS), OHSAS 18000. The integration can also include ISO 20000, ISO 22000, ISO 27000, ISO 51000 and more depending upon applicability and requirement in your organization.
Preparing documentation for implementing a management system is big task and hell of a task. This not only requires understanding various requirements but also requires ability to create a combined document in a way for all to understand.
